It is an honor to have incredible musicians and long-time friends on the recording:
legendary guitarist Bruce Kulick from KISS,
iconic bassist David Ellefson from MEGADETH,
and award-winning composer Steve Horner,
as well as my co-writer/drummer/husband Nick Baker,
all of whom brought my vision to life.
SYMPHONY & METAL is about resilience and hope, and not giving in to our fears.
We are fragile, vulnerable and beautiful (symphony) yet extremely adaptable, strong and tough (metal).
I have felt this complexity lately more than ever because in a short span of time I gave birth and became a mom to my amazing little daughter, then suddenly lost my dad, not being able to find closure because of the pandemic and then the war (which continues to devastate my family both in Russia and Ukraine).
As always, music has been helping me through it all, and the line “I am symphony & I am metal” has been my daily mantra.
